DECEMBER 2, 2022 World Futures Day, December 2, 2022 UNESCO has unanimously adopted December 2nd as World Futures Day at the 41st session of it’s General Conference, on November 24, 2021 in Paris. It is an invitation to the countries of the world to develop their capabilities and governance towards proactive policy-making and sustainable development for future generations, as well as international collaboration that encourages communities to participate in the process of creating the future. World Futures Day also aims to enable countries to use scientific tools that enhance awareness on the importance of anticipating the future and inventing new solutions that stimulate creativity and innovation. |
