Η Δρ. Άντρη Γεωργίου Μιχαηλίδου, Λέκτορας στη Σχολή Οικονομικών Επιστημών και Διοίκησης του Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου,  επιμελήθηκε μαζί με τις Dr.Adelina Broadbridge, Stirling Business School, University of Stirling, UK, και  Dr. Agneta Moulettes, formerly Lund University, Sweden, το νέο επιστημονικό βιβλίο με τίτλο «A Research Agenda for the Future of Inclusivity in Work» (εκδόσεις Edward Elgar- Elgar Research Agendas, 2026).

Οι συγγραφείς προσεγγίζουν και σκιαγραφούν το μέλλον της συμπερίληψης στην εργασία, με δημιουργικό και καινοτόμο τρόπο και επιχειρούν να χαρτογραφήσουν  πιθανές κατευθύνσεις εξέλιξης. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, θέτοντας την έμφυλη προσέγγιση στο επίκεντρο των συζητήσεων,  παρουσιάζουν μια εκτενή επισκόπηση της σύγχρονης έρευνας γύρω από ζητήματα απασχόλησης, φύλου και συμπερίληψης και προτείνουν μελλοντικές κατευθύνσεις για τις μορφές εργασιακής οργάνωσης που αναδύονται.

Μέσα από ένα ευρύ φάσμα επιστημονικών προσεγγίσεων εξετάζονται ζητήματα όπως οι αναδυόμενες τεχνολογικές, περιβαλλοντικές και δημογραφικές αλλαγές, που αναδιαμορφώνουν την απασχόληση σε σχέση με την εργασία, την ηγεσία και τη νομιμοποίηση. Επιπρόσθετα, οι συγγραφείς θέτουν στο επίκεντρο θέματα που συναρτώνται με το πεδίο της εργασίας, όπως τον αντίκτυπο της τεχνητής νοημοσύνης, την εξ αποστάσεως εργασία, τη γυναικεία επιχειρηματικότητα, τα δίκτυα LGBTQIA+, το μεταναστευτικό ζήτημα και το ζήτημα των γυναικών με αναπηρία στον χώρο εργασίας. Αναλύουν τις έμφυλες και διαθεματικές ανισότητες σε διάφορες όψεις της εργασιακής ζωής, υποστηρίζοντας ένα πιο συμπεριληπτικό και δίκαιο μέλλον της εργασίας που αμφισβητεί, αντί να αναπαράγει, τις κυρίαρχες δομές.

Το βιβλίο αποτελεί σημαντικό βοήθημα για φοιτητές και φοιτήτριες, ακαδημαϊκές και ακαδημαϊκούς στους τομείς των σπουδών φύλου, της διοίκησης επιχειρήσεων και οργανισμών, της διοίκησης ανθρώπινου δυναμικού και της κοινωνιολογίας. Dr. Andrie (Georgiou) Michaelides, Lecturer at the School of Economics and Management of the Open University of Cyprus, edited the new book titled “A Research Agenda for the Future of Inclusivity in Work” (Edward Elgar Publishing – Elgar Research Agendas, 2026), together with Dr. Adelina Broadbridge of Stirling Business School, University of Stirling, UK, and Dr. Agneta Moulettes, formerly of Lund University, Sweden.

The authors approach and outline the future of inclusivity in work in a creative and innovative manner, seeking to map out possible directions for its development. In this context, placing a gender perspective at the center of the discussion, they provide a comprehensive review of contemporary research on employment, gender, and inclusion, and propose future directions for emerging forms of work organization.
