The first part provides the basic framework for discussing more applied concepts and practices related to cultural management.

The tutor explains the meaning and content of the term 'cultural policy' and the history of the field, as well as basic principles and dominant models that regulate the sector of culture. References are made to international examples, but emphasis is placed on the national level of Cyprus and Greece. The second part of the module refers to the development of skills for the perception and comparative analysis of cultural policies and strategies.
