Undergraduate Programmes of Study:

Under the regulations of the Open University of Cyprus, undergraduate students are exempt from paying tuition fees. However, a fee per Thematic Unit is charged to all students to cover general operating/administrative costs. This amount is different for non-EU citizens and is determined by the University Council.

Postgraduate Programmes of Study (Master degrees):

Under the regulations of the Open University of Cyprus, every postgraduate student attending a Master degree is charged with tuition fees. The amount is determined by the University Council, depending on the program of study.

Doctoral Programmes (Ph.D):

Under the regulations of the Open University of Cyprus, every doctoral student is charged with tuition fees amounting to €675 per semester for the first three years of studies and €337.50 per semester for next five years of studies (Note: the length of study in a doctorate degree programme constitutes a minimum of three (3) years and a maximum of eight (8) years), an amount determined by the University Council.

Independent Modules and Short Term Programmes

(Note: successful completion of the self-governed Thematic Units offered at undergraduate and postgraduate levels by the OUC leads to the award of an undergraduate or postgraduate certificate of course study, not to full degrees): Under the regulations of the Open University of Cyprus, every student enrolled in self-governed Thematic Units in the context of lifelong learning is charged with the tuition fees amounting to each Thematic Unit, an amount determined by the University Council.
