The Open University of Cyprus (OUC) is ranked in the 1st and 2nd national position, and the 434th and 643th position worldwide in the fields of Social Sciences & Humanities and Computer Science respectively in the latest Reseach.com rankings.
OUC Professors Michalinos Zembylas and Yannis Manolopoulos are also listed in the list of the top scientists in the abovementioned fields respectively. More specifically, Professor Zembylas whose main research interests focus on curriculum and pedagogy, social justice pedagogies, intercultural and peace education, and human rights education, is ranked 1st nationally and 310th worldwide with h-index=67 in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities. Professor Manolopoulos with special research interest on data management is ranked 1st nationally and is in the 1569th position worldwide in the field of Computer Science with h-index=60.
