Strategic Partnerships and Engagement Service

The Strategic Partnerships and Engagement Service advances the University's mission by developing, managing, and strengthening strategic partnerships at both national and international levels. Through meaningful collaboration with universities, research institutions, public authorities, businesses, alumni, and other key stakeholders, the Service contributes to enhancing the University's academic, research, and societal impact.

Mission

The mission of the Strategic Partnerships and Engagement Service is to foster sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships that support the University's strategic priorities, promote innovation, strengthen its international presence, expand opportunities for collaboration in education and research, and create value for students, academic staff, alumni, and external partners.

Strategic Partnerships

The Service develops, manages, and expands strategic partnerships with universities, research centres, public organisations, businesses, and international networks. It coordinates joint initiatives, partnership agreements, and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), ensuring that all collaborations contribute to the achievement of the University's long-term strategic objectives. Through these partnerships, the Service promotes academic excellence, research collaboration, innovation, and internationalisation.

Institutional Relations and Engagement

The Service represents the University in national and international forums, conferences, and institutional networks, while cultivating and maintaining relationships with ministries, diplomatic missions, government authorities, and other strategic partners. It manages institutional relations and protocol matters, supports the University's leadership in external representation and stakeholder engagement, and strengthens connections with the University's alumni network, fostering lifelong engagement and collaboration.

Strategic Development and Governance

The Service ensures that partnerships and engagement activities are aligned with the University's strategic priorities and with the national and international regulatory frameworks. It monitors developments in higher education, identifies new opportunities for collaboration and growth, evaluates the effectiveness and impact of partnerships through key performance indicators, and provides strategic advice to the University's leadership. Working closely with academic and administrative units, the Service supports initiatives that enhance the University's reputation, international reach, and contribution to society.
