The Programme

The modules offered through the Lifelong Learning Programme are addressed to Greek Expatriates. The teaching of the module is in English via the asynchronous telecommunication platform of the Open University of Cyprus (eClass). At the same time, the possibilities of communication and distribution of educational material through the e-Learning Platform are utilised.

The main goal of the Modules of the Greek Language is for students to acquire the ability to meet basic communication needs, with an emphasis on oral speech, while in the Module of the History of Cyprus students will become familiar with all periods of Cypriot history, from ancient times to modern times.

Students will receive educational material through the e- Learning Platform. At the same time, students have access to the database of the Open University of Cyprus, while teaching is enriched with the use of the capabilities provided by new technologies: powerpoint, search for archival material on the Internet, audiovisual material, etc.
