FernUniversität in Hagen, a partner institution in the OpenEU consortium, of which the Open University of Cyprus (OUC) is also a member, will offer a free, three-month online German language course at A1 level, taught by a German instructor.

The course is addressed exclusively to students, academic staff and administrative personnel of the consortium’s member institutions, will begin on April 27 and will run for 12 weeks.

The OpenEU consortium, coordinated by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), aims to establish the first Pan-European Open University. Its mission is to enhance the digital, green, and social dimensions of the European Higher Education Area by providing access to high-quality study programmes and lifelong learning opportunities.
