The 10th International Staff Week was successfully completed

The Open University of Cyprus (OUC) successfully hosted the 10th Erasmus+ International Staff Week, organised by the University’s Mobility Office from 26 to 30 May 2025, with 24 academic and administrative staff members from 23 universities across 16 countries.  

The main objectives of the week were to bring together staff from diverse institutions to exchange experiences and best practices, and to foster the development of new research and educational collaborations within the framework of internationalisation. This year’s event attracted significant interest from higher education institutions both within the European Union and from third countries, including Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Malaysia, Palestine, and South Africa.

Participants had the opportunity to attend and deliver presentations highlighting the vast potential and substantial benefits of distance education, which is a core element of OUC’s identity.

The topics presented covered a wide range of areas, including academic and administrative support for students, labour market connections, internationalisation strategies, marketing, human resource management, and research.
