The Open University of Cyprus (OUC)  and more specifically the OUC Mobility Office is organizing an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) entitled: “Current Trends and Developments in International Investment Law and International Commercial & Investment Arbitration”. The BIP will be held in Paphos, Cyprus, from June 23 to June 27, 2025. Assistant Professor Chrysthia Papacleovoulou is the Programme’s scientific coordinator. The main objectives include, among others, exploring and presenting contemporary trends in International Arbitration, which constitutes an alternative means of resolving disputes in many sectors, such as the investment and trade sectors, through discussions and exchange of views between teachers and students.

The BIP which will take place at the facilities of the American University of Beirut - Mediterraneo Campus is coordinated by the OUC and the following Universities from five (5) countries are the members of the consortium: National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, FernUniversity in Hagen, Riga Graduate School of Law, University of Hamburg, University of Kragujevac, Bucharest University of Economic Studies. Participating academics, scholars and professionals in the field of Law will deliver presentations, lectures and conversations.

BIPs enable the Erasmus+ programme to provide innovative actions, as they are short-term programmes that promote knowledge and collaboration through advanced teaching methods.
