Open University of Cyprus (OUC) accepts applications for one position for Research Scientist for employment as part of the project “ARE-PRED: Developing a Web Based Learning Environment for Supporting Students’ Argumentation Skills and Reducing Prejudice” (2022-2024), which is funded under Restart 2016 - 2020 Programme - Excellence Hubs of the Research and Innovation Foundation. The project aims to develop and implement a novel, research-informed curriculum, in the form of a web-based learning environment for fostering middle-school students’ argumentation skills and reducing ethnic prejudice. The project will examine whether engagement in structured dialogue can support belief change and emotion change, reducing prejudice.
