The Open University of Cyprus joins the Cypriot network for Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility (CSR Cyprus)

 

The Open University of Cyprus (OUC), in line with its commitment to excellence in teaching and research, and its vision to act in an ethical, socially responsible and sustainable manner maximising the public benefit, joins as a full member the Cypriot network for Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility (CSR Cyprus).

CSR Cyprus is a dynamic network that now has 46 members, and aims to promote, develop and implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the strategies and operations of businesses and organizations, which operate in Cyprus, and to encourage mutual cooperation and exchange of knowledge and experience among its members towards sustainable development and growth. The Open University of Cyprus joins CSR Cyprus in an effort to reinforce its activities to integrate the principles of CSR with its corporate strategy and administration, to promote and communicate its social and environmental initiatives, to join the design and implementation of socially beneficial actions, such as corporate volunteering and educational programmes to foster CSR,  as well as to engage in public dialogue on CSR issues. CSR Cyprus is a member of the CSR Europe Network consisting of 42 European Networks and 10,000 member companies operating with a common mission and vision (Agenda 2030).
